Hey,

Every time I forget to enter the final forward slash either on the root or any other directory, the preceeding "www." is always automatically entered

eg:
I type http://domain.com/dir
It goes http://www.domain.com/dir/

I want http://domain.com/dir/


I'm using cPanel, (I'm not sure if thats relevant)

so what.. how does it affect you? Or easier still ... don't forget the /

I do not know about cPanel, but it Plesk you can turn on/off this feature.

But I guess this is because a cname record there using the www.xxx option. Check your zone records and remove the www.xxx line and see it helps!
