Has anyone here downloaded and installed it before?

I couldn't find any documentation on it.

The doc was a little hard for me to find too. Browse to http://interchange.redhat.com and follow the doc links on the left menu.

I have had some trouble installing interchange on a cobalt RAQ4i (based on redhat 6.2), but it may have been the older version of perl (5.0x). My upgrade to the newest version of perl crashed my RAQ and left the
GUI unusable. Also, I had some CGI-WRAP issues to overcome.

Mixed results with installing on red Hat 7.1.

Two positive experiences installing on red Hat 7.2.

None of these machines are production machines - I just needed to play with it and see if it is a viable solution for some of our needs.

I've installed it several times on my own & work on 4 or 5 projects with it where I used to work. It is very cool software. The documentation is available as mentioned above. There is also a mailing list for help.

Where I used to work we used it for all kinds of stuff. We did one site which was based completely on Interchange had ecommerce, message boards, & news articles. All using interchange & the interchange admin. We got so good at it that when the company went under RedHat Hired 4 of the 12 employees to work on the interchange product.

I give it many thumbs up.
