Anyone know of a program which will automatically connect and then upload files to a webserver on a daily basis?

If its ftping from a linux box you can just write a script to do it, or maybe even setup a cron job...

Its from an NT based local machine. I want to automatically upload an access database to the website

from NT you could write a batch file to do the FTPing and then call the batch file from the scheduler (AT command) that is built into NT.

is that I also need the program to automatically perform a dial-up, if its not connected then upload and disconnect.

I did some more researching yesterday nite and the closest I can find is a program called http://www.primasoft.com/ftp.htm for those who are interested.

I also looked at a program called netftp drive or something, but would not do automatic connection

Excellent link mattan!

Sounds like a useful program and I will try it to see if it works without the "phone home" (Ad-ware) part of the program.

Try WS_FTP Pro. There is a feature that might do what you want. I know you can schedule it to up/download files.

Check it out.

Where in WS_FTP Pro can you schedule transfers? I can't seem to loacate the option, and the help guide doesn't mention it either..

I've used a software called File Dog Pro.
You can find a 30 days version at http://www.edgepub.com/fd/ .
