The point of advertising is making your money back, If you are pooling in with your own kind it would end up being a flea market. Thats just my take.. if you meant something else please do let me know. Hostivo 01-24-2005, 11:15 AM I agree with UnifiedNet. How exactly would you Co-op advertise a hosting company with a design company exactly? In order for it to work you must have a good plan :). I'm interested in your ideas regarding this. Thanks, Ryan Clark Taylor 01-24-2005, 12:27 PM I think it would be ok. Though it is definitely dependent on who you partner with, how you go about it, etc. You're looking to advertise more of an all-in-one type solution, correct? This to your local market? I think it would work on your local market, I would advise against it on a global scale. tommyjh02 01-24-2005, 01:01 PM This really wouldn't be pooling in with your own kind. One of the ways that co-op advertising works is when Epson sells a printer and includes Kodak photo paper. I'm pretty sure Epson didn't purchase the photo paper, I would think Epson through that in there because they want that customer to return to buy their paper and not epsons. Further more, I do believe this would be geared towards a local market. As far as how it would work, I believe there is more than one way it could work for a host/design firm. But as Hostivo said, it would need good plan to work. eBay now has an Advertising Co-Op Program, in which they pay a portion of print advertising costs for PowerSellers and Trading Assistants. |
