View Full Version : Know anything about Freedomvoice?
sevaa 02-19-2002, 10:22 PM Hi All - I've been looking for a good 800 number provider and I think I've narrowed my choice down to freedomvoice.com - although they don't have the cheapest per minute rates, they have a ton of extras that make them really attractive. I'm not expecting a bunch of calls, I just really would like an affordable phone solution. Has anyone had any experience with them? I think I remember someone mentioning them earlier, but a search unfortunately yielded nothing. Thanks!
AudiBoy 02-20-2002, 03:16 PM Yeah, I actually have an account with them, and they seem great. Although I have never used anyone elses product, nor do I recieve alot of phone calls on that number. But what I thought was great about it was:
ability to have a phone number that 'follows you around'
ability to findout who is calling you before you answer
multiple mail boxes
There might be more but I can't remember right now ,
Good luck
Jason...
jrpark 02-20-2002, 03:28 PM I have had good luck using them as well. Once my e-mail address for forwarding of voice mail was lost in their system, but beyond that their service is great. Over the last few months their web interfact to the service has also improved greatly.
Jeff Rambo 02-20-2002, 03:41 PM I suggested freedomvoice a few times a few weeks back. Since then, I've found more peace of mind with AccessLine. If you'd like the same features of freedom voice at a lower cost and on a better system (with more features as well)... go with them.(www.accessline.com). You can search these forums for other Accessline customers as well.
E-mail Matt Sanelli at msanelli@accessline.com -- he'll give you the lowdown on all of the features and he'll tell you what costs he can reduce for you as well. Tell him I gave you his address.
newbizhelp 02-20-2002, 06:32 PM I looked at accessline.com & was unable to find prices..
Heres my question.. (I have read alot of threads but am still looking) I get maybey... 10 calls a week to our 866#. I want something that is free to setup,no montly fee, will work as a voicemail, but has the follow-me feature, & is very cheap per minute, with no extra phone line needed (thus the follow me) I also want something that I can make a commision off of, or resell in a private label situation.. Any suggestions?
Thanks
Jeff Rambo 02-20-2002, 07:02 PM You won't find a service that offers voice mail and forwarding at no monthly fee. I wanted the same thing but was unable to find it. As far as commission goes, AccessLine offers it, just inquire.
I'd suggest you go with uReach.com's top plan as it would be the cheapest and offer the (quality) services you need and there is no setup fee, w/ only a $6.99 monthly, plus a low per minute rate). But you only get one voice mail box and no automated operator (no departmental or employee extensions etc.).

sevaa 02-20-2002, 07:27 PM Thanks for all the great reply's - I've been looking at ureach, and they do look very nice. Does anyone know if they allow you to forward customers to your mailbox automatically at certain times? Also, do they have a feature like freedomvoice's package, where it announces who's calling before your choose to answer receive the call?
Jeff Rambo 02-20-2002, 07:31 PM 1- Forward customers to your mailbox automatically?
Yes, disable uReachMe and it goes to voice mail.
2- Announce who's calling before you choose to answer?
To my knowledge, no, but don't quote me... check out the feature specs more so on their site.
sevaa 02-20-2002, 09:05 PM wow - just signed up for ureach and they are truly amazing! Thanks for all your help! (btw, if anyone else would like some more info on ureach, simply signup for the free trial - it will let you see and test their system) Oh yeah...one more little thing - for my welcome message, should I use a male or female voice? I'm thinking a female voice would sound a little more friendly ;)
grafikat 02-20-2002, 09:29 PM If you have a sole propriatership, I would use a voice of the opposite sex...it makes your company sound larger ;)
Cheers
Kat
