Hey there, I don't know know if this is going in the right forum, but for the past few days I've been having trouble sending and retreiving my mail through Eudora. What is really weird is that I've been using Eudora for months (with Compuserve as my ISP) with absolutely no problems. The error I'm getting is as follows:
SSL Negotiation Failed: Certificate Error: Cert Chain not trusted. Try adding this certificate to your certificate database for SSL to succeed Certificate bad: Destination Host name does not match host name in certificate Cause (-6995)
I checked, and it's rejecting ssl@cpanel.net (or something similiar). I added the ssl info to the "trusted" list, but it still didn't work. Finally this (http://www.eudora.com/techsupport/kb/2323hq.html) helped me out.
Anyway, I'm thinking it could be my ISP, or it could be CPanel, since eccentrik.org, geek-chic.net, and fortytwo.nu are all on different hosts, but all use CPanel. I mean, my problem's been resolved now, but I don't understand why Eudora chooses to act up months after I've started using it
