As many of you may know, I have had really bad luck with service from my current host, so i have started a new topic in the webhosting request forum looking for a new host, and i have got some really good deals. Before i make up my mind, i would like to ask everyone what they would recommend someone that wants to put up a site that is selling 200 and more products? What company would you guys recommend? and why if thats not to much?
Thanks

well the products/shopping cart side of things is not a problem, it is the selling that is tricky.......Do you have a merchant account or third party CC processor??? Are you going to collect CC Numbers??
I don't think host does matter much, talking about security issue, reputable host like venturesonline, hostmatters... are safe to go with. Host with them, get free php one like oscommerce, pay $150 for SSL thawte or $79 in equifax and you all set. Of course, if you don't already have physical merchant account, you'll need to get one.
My exp with venturesonline is great.

Yes i have an offline merchant account right now, if the site picks up then i will need an online merchant account. But my question was more about hosts then merchant accounts, or do they tie together?

I think Miva Merchant is easy to set up, and OLM is good for that if you have low bandwidth requirements. They charge an arm and a leg for it.
Otherwise, catalog.com is known for online catalog hosting.
