Design and consultancy to local businesses. Which actually brings in the majority of our money.

Mail order brides, T-Shirts, toast with the face of Mary on it, used computer equipment.

You name it, and you can sell it on your website.

Thank you Nothing :). Our company does not offer any other services besides webhosting (either shared, reseller, dedicated [at MainArea.com], and VPSes [soon]). However, we operate other websites (not hosting related) that make money through advertising revenue.

We offer domain names and SSL certificates in addition to shared hosting.

We offer any computer related services including web design, hosting, repair, game server leasing, etc.

The main thing is I have learned to turn down any work that cannot be handled in a timely manner or that is completely out of the norm. Saying no was a hard thing to learn.

it's interesting that you spread out your service, dedicated at mainarea.com and reseller at resellerpeak.com...does it work better ? isn't it easier to offer everything (dedicated, sharehosting, reseller, vps) under one brand?

Different management services, any kind of adds you can think of, Firewalls (not too many hosting companies offer dedicated firewalls) We design services, merchant services, security scans/updates.

I've started research into selling communication business service such as unified messaging. There seems to be a lot of demand for services like what kall8 , tollfreeexpres and gotvmail type of services. I also wonder if people can make money reselling vonage.

It may be easier to manage 1 site but a reseller, dedicated and shared target market are very different. By having other sites you can make that site specific for that market. Sorta like servermatrix, theplanet and insomnia365. Each focus on a different type of client but we all understand it is 1 company.

Full range of services. Hosting is now only becoming another revenue stream for our company. We do full consulting services, app development, corporate wireless, telecom, service contracts, design etc etc etc. If it's IT related or has IT in it, we probably do it. Plus, we pick up outsourced contracts for servicing large international companies (banks, retail, insurance etc).

No, currently we just sell shared, reseller, and soon dedicated servers.
