Hmm...interesting. I had a brief look at their site and would like to explore it further. One thing I would like to say is that I wish their set-up fee was as attractive as their monthly fees. They want nealy G200.

I notice they say 200+ domains. The RaQ3 manual says 250 IP-based. I am new to this and wonder if someone can explain how to get the most number of domains out of a RaQ. Does this mean if I have three IPs then I can host 750 domains? Or, is 250 the most you can squeeze out of a RaQ? But would it be safe to host more than 250 on one RaQ even if you could?

I wanted to call UK2 on the phone to feel them out but they don't accept any calls whatsoever. Then I tried to email. They don't accept email directly and make you go through a form for security as they ask for your password.

But I wanted to email them to ask questions "before" signing up (again to feel them out). There is no way you can ask them a question without first being signed up. I couldn't even find a way to email the sales department (perhaps they don't even have one).

The price is attractive but I don't know if I could live with that system. If I had a number of dedicated servers and wanted to try one as a test to see how they work, perhaps. But I would be afraid to trust my one and only server to a deal like that.

If you try them PLEASE be sure to let me know how it works out (kb@gol.com). Thanks!

It is a three year, paid upfront contract as far as I am aware. Search this board for UK2 and you will find other threads stating the same and the fact that you have to pay a DNS charge of about £2 per domain you add to the Raq (Per month I think).
