That only shows to you how popular PayPal is among consumers. Why would you hate them because of a phising e-mail from some scam artist? The only point you've made with this thread is that you have no common sense.

PayPal tells you they will NEVER send you an e-mail not addressed to you by name (they know who you are) and to ALWAYS login using https not http
The "Dear PayPal Member" is a dead giveaway it's not legitimate. If it was it would have said Dear "Name on your account"
They just keep on & on trying new schemes to get your PayPal info.
And PayPal keeps warning customers not to fall for it.
It would be interesting to see all the header info from that e-mail as well as all the source code behind the html.

:roll2: you're correct. this guy have no common sense at all. he is mad at paypal because some a-hole is sending out spoof email to paypal customers. paypal and ebay have spend a lot of money and time to crack down on spoof email and educate their customer about spoof scam. if you don't follow what paypal's gudie line. how's it paypal fault for someone's scam?

Scammers, Frauds, and other 'ppl' are to blame.

Those sort of scam emails are sent for just about every major financial institution. Paypal are good in my personal opinion. I have never had a problem with them yet.

I have been using PayPal for years too and never had a complain with them. Same for eBay.
Sure there are tons of scammers there but why blame an organisation when the fault does not lay with them?

Its like saying " I hate Paul because Sam burnt my car...."
No connection.... Unless you are saying that Paul is the overall mastermind...

Why hate paypal, when they have nothing to do with this email. It just shows how popular paypal is and anyone who knows anything about the internet will avoid the scam.
