When a domain whois information says, for example :
Record created on 09-Nov-2003, does it mean that it was deleted and then grabbed ?

I mean, under which other situations a new whois record is created?

A domain transfer between registrars create a new whois record ?

I have this doubt, because I saw that date in what I think is a premium domain, so I can't believe it was let to be deleted :(

Premium domains drop every week. But yes, in some rare occasions a new creation date will appear when a domain is tranferred from one registrar to another.

Yup. Ideally, anyway. :)

Like you just said. I'm not sure if it also applies to redeemed
domains, though. (can anyone confirm?)

Ideally (again!) it adds years to the current expiration date.

If that's what happened in this case, it won't be the first time. :D
