When you are putting together prices for dedicated servers, what time frame do you expect to have at the very least, recovered your money for the hardware, bandwidth and rack space expenses? Do you price it so you start getting a profit on that machine in 4 months, 6 months, less, more?

No, I don't think that. Yes, I am sure it has a lot to do with it but it is certainly not the ONLY thing. And I am sure their are a lot of companies with very similar pricing structures. I have my pricing structure for dedicated servers, I am curious to hear how others go about it.

It does depend on your business model and what your ROI is.
You're basically burning capital/profits till you achieve your ROI.
You should look at your costs to build or lease servers, how much capital you have and what makes the most sense to your business.
