Is there a way to minimize charge backs and refunds?
What is the most common strategy to do this?

This has been discussed many times, do a search for charge back on this forum.
The last thread is currently one line under this one: http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?threadid=36503

What if I don't have a real merchant account?
Let say that I'm using 2checkout service.
How am I supposed to do all checks for IP, domain name, phone number and so on if my orders are processed in real time?
Any help appreciated.

You can do the necessary checks at samspade.org. If your orders are processed automatically - no interaction with yourself - then you will not be able to do the checks until after the client has signed up. This will be too late so it's probably best not to have real time processing.

Is there a company like 2checkout or revecom that offers not real time credit card processing?
Do I have to get real merchant account to have the ability not to process credit card orders in real time?

Sorry, I thought you meant that when you received payment, the account was set up. :(

I don't know the answer to this.

I would recommend talking to customers before sign up. Also have them sign a credit card charge form so that you have permission to charge their credit card.

lookup their phone # in whitepages.com see if their name matches the card name... some sites provide zipcode avs for one last check...
