This is in regard to Cpanel machines. Have any of you had success in moving websites, created by SiteStudio, from one server to another? If so, could you outline what you did?

I believe you just change the ID numbers of the source files
12.website.data and 12.website.data.old

to the new ID numbers you will be using on the new server, like:
25.website.data and 25.website.data.old

Then, copy those source files, to the new server.

Finally, you would transfer the cpanel account using WHM.

An adjustment to the IP in the new SiteStudio would still be required.

Am I way off? Am I missing something?

Hi Lauren. Psoft, from what I have heard, are very good about support with their control panel and servers. However, it has been my experience that they can be pretty slow in response to questions regarding SS. When I have gotten answers in the past, they were vague one-liners. Their forums are not meant for support, really, so there are many un-answered questions on there. They have a great product, though.:)

As for allowing it, I don't see why they would not. I mean, SiteStudio has been paid for on both servers.
