one site stole the colors from WHT and the other stole WHTS forum descriptions - if you look at WHT and hostreach descriptions are almost identical:rolleyes:

I will tell you I reviewed WHT's title and descriptions, and tried to improvise from there. What's left is writing my descriptions in another language I guess. I did NOT do any cutting/pasting, if that's what you're trying to get to.

I'm not sure why I'm even spending time trying to defend myself on this point. Before you know it I will be defending myself over stealing the English language.

You guys make up your own minds. I hate stealing as much as the next person, believe me. If enough people really think there's too much resemblance, changing the descriptions is a 2 minute process.

Boy this has put a damper on Hostreach, which was basically a spur of the moment project anyways.

Whats the point of starting another Web Hosting Forum since there already so many, and making it look similar if not identical to WHT, which is already the best. There is nothing different, there is nothing new to offer, what is the point?

The point is the accusations of theft by someone who obviously knows nothing about bulletin boards to start with. There are only so many ways to skin a VBulletin....unless you are saying the colors should be protected...In that case, I'm guilty too, because I know somewhere I've used grey. And, as to the forum sections, I would expect all for the industry to have similarities. Certainly, all the ones I've visited do...So unless they steal all the posts and duplicate those, don't go around posting such serious and unsupportable charges. Find something worthwhile to do with your time or just take a nap and chill.
