I've briefly talked to someone on the net before, and he mentioned that there are places that let you bring your server in, and use their pipe for webhosting.

My friend and I have a server, and it should be cheaper than renting a dedicated server, so I was wondering if anyone here were familiar with the use of such a place, and about how much it would cost to use it for a server that needs about 20-30 gb bandwidth per month.

And if anyone could find the location of some in the Los Angeles area, that would be really helpful.

You can find many ISPs that offer colocation by doing a search.

Try searching for Los Angeles colocation in these forums.
