Those are very interesting error pages. Never really thought of messing with error pages a whole lot...i'll look into that a little bit more. ;)

One important thing for a 404 page is to have contact information so the user can tell you how they came to the 404- what link was bad.

Well, you can also find out that by checking error logs

The 404 in my personal sites say:

Not Found Haiku

I am the server.
I say to you: "404"
Go back or go home.

i just have the default message (ie error 404) inside my sites template.
