My e-commerce site has trouble processing Discover Cards
through Authorize.net and I am pursuing the issue with them.

I know hardly anyone uses them but I thought I would ask if anyone has had similar Problems.

We don't have any problems processing Discover through Authorize.net. Not yet anyway... ;)

I haven't taken one Discover card yet but I do know Authorize.net upgraded some features on there systems last week that kind of put a wrench in some of my processing. I've since been able to speak with them and gotten it fixed though.



What kind of trouble were you having?

Somewhat off topic...

We are not having any troubles at all with Discover cards (though we are using PayFlow (previously CyberCash) however after switching to the PayFlow terminal we have been unable to obtain an approval for Mastercards based in the Netherlands or Great Britain ... They have been "Working on it" for entirely too long now and we're stuck just calling everyday and hoping they fix it soon :/

Has anyone else ever had a problem with a specific card located in a specific country before? All other Mastercard, Amex, Discover, Visa transactions go through just fine... the _only_ problem is with MC from the Netherlands and Great Britain

One thing I have learned through this mess is that it is likely not your terminal that is having the problem but the bank. With ours we thought for sure it was the terminal since they had recently moved us from the CyberCash terminal to Verisigns PayFlow but it turns out it is the processing bank and not the terminal at all...
