I want to deploy my application with servlets and jsps.
I am using Tomcat 4.1 as my web server.

I've never heard of iPlanet, to be honest with you. You might try Tomcat 5 - they've done a great job over the past year, and it's a lot quicker than it used to be. It can even be faster than Apache for static files in some instances. If you don't want to use Tomcat, you could try Jetty or Resin. Jetty's free, Resin isn't.

What troubles have you got with tomcat? i suppose, it's the best solution for most using

You could use iPlanet - except that it doesn't exist anymore. It is now part of the "Sun Java Enterprise System". Knowing Sun, that name will probably change by the time you read this though :).

It isn't typically free software though. Rather pricey actually. But, if you fit into the terms of this licensing program:

You can indeed get it for free for a while.
