Is it possible to do a search, and exclude posts by a certain individual?

I've been trying things, but it's not working.

You could do a search that excludes threads with any mention of a certain individual (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&c2coff=1&q=site%3Awebhostingtalk.com++some+keywords+-amish_geek), but that's the only way I know to do it.
