Have you looked at hostgator?

Yes, but they have what the other sites have, but for less.

I gotta ask this question?

If you have a stove top with 4 burners and you burn your hand on one will you turn on the other 3 and stick your hand on them to see if they will burn you to?

I mean at some point you get it, the price is too cheap and cannot support itself long term at that price.

Techark, give up :stickout:, he doesn't want to get it. I think we should let him get burned again and again untill he just quits. Am I being harsh?

By the way, what you wrote is that a quote or did you write it yourself?

I was also wondering that. It is quite creative.

It just popped in my head after seeing this guy try ever $4.95 host selling 200 gig of transfer he could find.

The funniest thing about these people is that most of them use like 500mb of transfer a month, if that...but they take all these horrible hits dealing with drasticallly overselling providers because they think they're getting a deal. It's scary, but still rather amusing at the same time.

It's a psychological need they have perhaps. Humans are generally funny beings. :D

Wouldn't it be easier to find the company that had both quick support and stable servers?

I have an account at ResellerZoom and have been more than satisfied. The support times have been very quick and I have had no problems with their servers. I have been with them going on 2 months.

I plan on writing a review after my third month. :)

Go for it then ~

I am not affiliated with them, but let him learn a lesson ~ :stickout:

I think everyone has already explained clear and well enough to him "you get what you pay for"~

The server I am on with them went down once and that was for about 2 minutes. By the time I sent in a ticket, the server was back. But they still responded to the ticket in about 3-5 minutes.

This is a tad off topic, but I must say, Reseller Zoom has an amazing page design IMO. I'm jealous :)

Well, web design is highly subjective. I wouldn't say resellerzoom's site is amazing for example. It's clean though and I like that. However, web design should not be used to decide between hosts (IMO).

Thanks for the compliments on the site design. It was meant to be clean, simple, and to the point. I think we achieved that. I don't think its amazing either and as Dan said, should not be used to judge a host.

This is also off topic but I think Dan would make a great moderator here. I hope the INET guys take notice because if I ran the show, Dan would be tops on my list.

I'm already hooked on WHT. Make me a mod and there's a good chance I don't get out of my apartment for weeks at a time. :D

What's the criteria for someone to be chosen as a mod?

joshuayip
01-20-2005, 05:59 AM
Errr... How about not leaving the apartment for one weeks or so, and goes out only once a week to shop and get laundry =)

We're constantly making improvements towards our service as well as taking all feedbacks into considerations along with suggestions. We have already implemented several suggestions by the vast majority of our customers. Our dedication to our customers comes first before profit. Gazzin allows all users to receive 30 days free this means we're paying for the equipment along with the man power just so you can get your feet wet. We're no fly by company we're here to stay!

I only have gazzin go down once in 3 months I have been with them.

They sent us an explanation and handled it very professionaly. They also changed their infrastracture to increase stablilty, or so day say.

Anyways, any host could go down it is how the company handles it.

I would rcommend gazzin but like with any company keep sites backed up in case they go out of business.

Just got an account of Varhosting.net

I hope I will be as happy as the rest of you. I alredy had a chat with online support. I needed ssh and they require you to justify it before they give it to you. I don't mind this if it increases their security.

I will report back in several weeks.
