Configuration and Web Developer for Network Security Appliance

We are looking for a developer to work on the UI (web and console) and platform configuration for our Linux based network security appliance. Duties include creating web and console configuration interfaces in various scripting languages, some C programming, creating embedded images, and working on similar projects. We are constantly developing enhancements that interface with the latest network software and hardware in the market, so this position will always have room for the candidate to acquire new skills.

Requirements:

Ability to develop complex scripts in PHP, Perl, and shell scripts
Detailed knowledge of Linux system and network configuration
Extensive experience with networking and some network security
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Initiative and desire to acquire new skills
BS in Computer Science or equivalent

Desired Qualifications:

Experience in programming C, C++ and/or Java
Experience with switches, routers, and firewalls
Experience in Internet/network security
