:: THIS WEEK'S SPECIAL ::

As you are aware, we have a current special lasting through the end of January where all servers are 15% off to WHT members, but this week we have a new special which applies ONLY to Celeron 2.4GHz machines:

ALL Celeron 2.4GHz Servers = $59.00 / month and no setup fees.

Sale Duration and Conditions
Your discount will last for the LIFE OF THE ACCOUNT! That means you will pay just $59 for the server as long as your account remains in good standing*. Server upgrades, control panels, extra IP's and Windows OS licenses are not included.

:):):)Sale Ends 1/23/2005:):):)

Requirements
Once again, you must be either using the server as a game server, represent an established game server hosting company or be a game developer needing a box for engine/ mod testing.

Features on ALL Servers
- Free Bandwidth Graphs (RTG)
- Free proactive server monitoring (ping + 3 services)
- Free KVM/IP Access to All Servers
- Free Remote Reboot Port
- CoS (Class of Service) prioritizes game server traffic on the entire network

Server Hardware
All servers were designed and constructed by our good friends at Rackmount Micro!
- Servers use only Intel-class CPU's (no AMD)
- Hard Drives built by Maxtor (longevity)
- Kingston Reg ECC DDRAM
- On board 10/100/1000 NIC (Dual CPU servers have dual NICs)
- Multi-blower internal assembly providing maximum cooling

Available Operating Systems
We know the importance of having a choice of operating systems. So we offer one of the largest selections of OS's to choose from. FREE CUSTOM PARTITIONING IS ALWAYS AVAILABLE ON REQUEST.
Choose from the following:
* Windows 2003 Standard ($25/mo)
* RedHat 9 (deprecated/unsupported) = $FREE
* Fedora Core 1 or 2 = $FREE
* FreeBSD 4.10-PRODUCTION = $FREE
* Debian 2.2 = $FREE
* CentOS = $FREE
* Slackware = $FREE
* Gentoo = $FREE
* Is your favorite OS not listed? Ask and we'll build you an image at order. Images not readily available at ordering time may delay the install process slightly.

Data Center
We have a custom-built security cage within the RagingWire Data Center running on a Cisco/Foundry network. The facility is located on the US west coast in Sacramento, California -- hundreds of miles from the nearest active fault line.
Be hosted amongst several other floorspace tenants including:
- NVIDIA
- Logitech
- Hitachi Data Systems
- Flextronix
- FrontPorch

Security
- Our cage is secured by a cylindrical custom-cut locking sliding door, 1 1/2" square mesh and sealed feeds.
- The building exterior is monitored by stills and video cams.
- The outer perimeter is secured by a 24/7 onsite security staff, security cameras, video cams, card/PIN codes and man traps.
- The floor itself is protected by card/PIN codes, man traps, biometric scanners, retina scanners and patrolling security personnel.

Bandwidth
We utilize a BGP mix of 3 premium bandwidth providers:
- AT&T
- MCI( UUNET)
- Sprint.
No Tier Three providers or providers known for problematic connections. All 3 providers are included in the Internap bandwidth mix.
Our bandwidth usage is no mystery. It can be viewed by the public at:
http://mycalhost.com/rtg/web/view.php?rid=1&iid=8

Uptime
Our network has held a solid 100% uptime outside scheduled system maintenance windows for the last 3 years.
DoS attacks are mitigated via the CalHost Watchdog Program monitored 24/7 by a team of Cisco and Foundry-certified engineers.

Act quickly since we are running VERY LOW on most server models.

And of course, all questions and inquiries are welcome. All servers come with 1000GB bandwidth and per-U and partial-rack colo inquiries are always welcome escorted in the cage itself or unescorted (subject to standard per visit security procedures) in a dedicated locked cabinet just outside the cage, but still on the same floor.

* Account in Good Standing Defined
If your account is found deliquent, payment is not made or paid late without prior notice, your 20% discount will be lifted and pricing will subsequently match those rates posted on the website at the time deliquency is discovered.

Bandwidth Provided:
1000GB (that includes in and out).

IP:
204.94.92.50

Backbone:
The details about our bandwidth and network is listed in the sale details above. Please let me know what specifics you were looking for if not listed.

CPanel:
Because we have very few clients who need/use CPanel, the license for it is $39.00/month.

If it's not to much trouble, I'll post a test file later this evening. I don't remember the exact URL off hand.

Thanks- good questions!

Sorry to repeatedly add my own comments to this, but I keep getting emails about the same things:

1. We are only out of the Celeron 2.4GHz with 1GB DDRAM and 2x80GB hdd -- NOT all machines altogether. We have plenty of machines.

2. We are NOT allowing customers to use the machines solely as email relays. That smells like spam and we aren't really all that interested in getting our IP's blacklisted, thanks very much.

Hope this clarifies things.
