SPAM doesn't normally bother me much. I see people complaining all the time, but personally I've always just deleted it and moved on. No big deal. Life is too short.

Logolution.com & Logozine.com are starting to irritate me though. Is anybody else getting their SPAM?

Attention Logolution.com & Logozine.com - I don't want any logos created. I'm not sure if you are a member here or not, but I hope the search engines pick up this thread and others find it. Please stop sending me SPAM. Stop harvesting my email addresses.

I get spam all the time from people wanting to create logos and Flash intros for me. Apparently, Flash intros are still the hot new thing to have on your site :eek:

I've not paid close enough attention to their source to see who's spamming me. I'll check the next time I have one come my way.

Got it here also. It went into my junk email box that I just checked. Seems they are harvesting email addresses since I never given out the email address they used.

I keep getting "send your tsunami relief site to 250,000 people" at my gmail address. Which I know must be from my domain registration, because that's the only place it's posted. Which made for an interesting experiment...I wondered how much spam I would get from using an e-mail address in my domain registration.

Everywhere else I'm getting a lot of penny stocks, pain killers and upgrade windows... None of which I am interested in.

And I think my spam count has doubled in the last month! *sigh*

It took a while, but I finally got my first logozine spam.

I'm willing to bet they've either chosen a host who will be non-responsive to complaints or that their servers are in-house. I wonder if complaining to the company that furnishes their pipes or even Gandi would make a difference. Anyone ever tried going after a company through the registrar before?

Edit - Their IP addresses come from Taurus Telecom, Moscow Russia. Anyone here from Russia or know the laws well enough to tell us what can be done, if anything? Again, is Gandi an option?

What's interesting is that some went to a domain name that I just registered over the weekend. I have not even used the email account to send anything yet, and nobody knows I registered the name. It makes me wonder how in the heck they could get the information so fast. I don't want to point fingers at the registrar, but something funny is going on.

It's not too hard to write bots that scour registrars. I got logozine's whois info from a non-Gandi who search - it can be harvested from anywhere.

Not sure if i get spam from logozine but i get a lot from companies offering logo's etc, i'll check when i get home. I've also had an increase in spam from people offering me software at low prices.

If russia's spam law is anything like there software piracy laws then all of us will be getting this email many more times to come :(

I got like 5 or 6 from these guys this week. I mean I saved the first one I ever got from them cause it is a valid service that I could take advantage of, but now im getting them over and over and from obvious spam solutions providers.

I'm getting some mails every day, can't do much about it.

I have been getting them regularly on my private domain - this annoys me.

Spamshark always catches them but what annoys me is that I have been extremely careful where I have used my email address. I have even received them on email addresses that have never been used!

I have asked them on two occasions to remove me from their lists.

Since they haven't done, for every email they send me I send them one back from their feedback form:

logolution.info/about_us.php

Trust me - you can paste a lot of text in there :-)

I also report everyone to spamcop.

We have to fight back against these people!!!!!!

I suggest that everyone does the same :-)

They're back!
They are using forged return addresses and in some cases they are using some of my domain names so I am getting tons of bounce backs.

They are now snding people to logozine.org but notice logozine.info is the exact same site and also is registered to mr Lee in Moscow.

Logozine stop harvesting email address and stop using my domain(s) as the return address.

i have tons from them, i even think that they are not even a logo design company. They are just sending spam and testing their systems so they can then release some worms.....
