What can you suggest as a control panel for end-users?

The $2000 version for FreeBSD does not have a CP, only scripts for adminitration. An expensive version ~8K$ has 3 CPs, but it is well.....expensive :D

Ouch for that price I would go with Ensim ServerXchange.

Wow. They never told us that. We have been long-time Ensim SX users, but we always keep a look out for up and coming services/software. We have been working with them and never knew the VPS "enviorments" had no CP. The one they gave us to test did. Also, they are releasing a new version Tuesday. Maybe this new one includes a CP.

They will give you a environment you can trash. So you can try these installs yourself if noone replies to the post.

Keep us informed on the new release, I may look into it possibly.

I was glancing over this thread and just put 2 and 2 together (it's late, I'm sorry) -- I think this (http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/cn/20020223/tc_cn/software_lets_intel_servers_divide) is the press release that describes the new software release. I've talked with these folks in the past, and as far as I know all of their offerings are expensive (>$10000 for a year) --- anyone heard any differently?

Virtuozzo (core) is a $2000 product for unlimited number of VDSs.

Here is the retail we were quoted.

Unlimited VDSs (Enviornments) for 1 server- $2.00/GHz

Pay per VDS on 1 server - $1.00/GHz PLUS $100/VDS

These do not include an CP. You need the next thing

Management software - $7500. This covers 15 GHz of servers. Thi salso allows you to add CPs and comes with a billing and customer management GUI.

Unlike Ensim, these are all onetime fees.

Support fees are (I believe) 20% per year.
