i have not seen any recent posts for datapipe. I am looking at a dedicated server with ensim and i am down to these two providers. There prices are quite a bit different.
I would apreciate any comments from current or past customers on the service of each.
Any other recomendations would be aprecated as well.
I.E. rackspace, peguses, ect entry level dedicated

Whoaa..
Way back in the day.. I had a RAQ3 at datapipe.
The support was good and they were never down from what I remember. I had the server over a year before moving.

I don't think you can really compare the two. DataPipe has a better quality network and and are very experienced.
Hope that helps!

Pricewise, you would have 3 rackshack servers for the price of 1 at datapipe...

This may be true but Datapipe has Managed Servers where Rackshack does not. Thus the difference in price. I used Datapipe awhile back and had no problems with them at all, the only reason I left them was because I moved from dedicated servers to our own and wanted them a little closer to home. Can not speak on them recently but in the past they have my vote.

Actually, unless I'm reading their pricing wrong, the same server as a managed server from Datapipe would run $695 per month.
1.13 Thz, 256 MB Ram, 50 GB Bandwidth, 10 IP's $295/month or $695.00/month under Managed Server Options. So 1 managed server @ DataPipe = ~6 dedicated servers at RackShack.
But of course apples and oranges in terms of support (probably).
