Hello,
I want to ask a question

Currently I am using perldesk for my webhosting service.

I have another website which offers free hosting , I was wondering if I could pipe the e-mail for the support of free hosting on my main webhosting service helpdesk

Remember both are on different servers and the e-mail forwarder which i have setup for e-mail piping is :

|/home/path/to/email.cgi

What should I modify the above to so that it forwards it to another website on another server?

Thanks

All you really need to do is forward mail from one server to the other and setup the pipe on the server with PerlDesk installed to handle email for the second alias.

But if suppose i forward the e-mail to a e-mail on the server on which perldesk is present and pipe that e-mail address, when i will reply from perldesk staff area , the response will go to my own e-mail address ( the first e-mail address which was set to forward to the e-mail address on which perldesk is present ).

You might be better off asking on the PerlDesk support forums

It doesn't (at least shouldn't) work like that. We have e-mail going to 2 different servers forwarded to 1 copy of perldesk and it works fine as described above.
