 | View Full Version : Server reboot itself 10 times a day Eiv 02-18-2002, 07:14 AM I just ordered a dedicate server 1 week ago. Since it started working 3 days ago, the server either hang up or reboot itself every few hours in random time. Sometimes I can ping the server but cant SSH into the server. Check also your memory, fan or maybe the power supply. I had the same before and it was a bad HD. :( Eiv 02-18-2002, 08:25 AM How to check HDD corrupt or not. bobcares 02-18-2002, 11:24 AM HI! The software corruption can be checked with the fsck command. However, I feel this is more of a hardware problem... Mostly the fan or the RAM... (a home backup computer) Specially in the summer... weird...
