I recently got a new account at splashhost after recommendations of this forum. i believe i am on the new denver or dallas server. Since 40 minutes all my sites and customer sites are down is anyone else experiencing this problem? i cannot reach anybody and its frustrating after only such a short time. :(

Yes but my sites were down for almost an hour now theyre up but i cannot access cpanel or webhostmanager. i cannot reach anyone from support. i need top support and need to setup my client accounts tonight. i cannot afford to wait,

You shouldn't be trying to steal SplashHost customers he will take care of his problems without you trying to take his customers. A customer will leave if they want without your help.

Heres a quick update: I have rebooted the server, suspended the account that I found was abusing the server and forwarded any info that I found to Alan. The server has returned back to normal

If best, I think other hosts and visitors might agree, if you have any future issues with the company you are hosting with, its best to contact the host directly in any means (other then public forums) possible.

Its all good and well asking Alan first but I have already and have got no reply, if I was not reading WHT I wouldnt have a clue what is happening.

It seems like the reliability of the Splashhost service has taken a dive in my estimation, too many problems in too short a time.

Last might we were deliberately attacked again. This person is using any demo account he can find to upload a script that will crash the server. If anyone has any accounts that are open to the public you must terminate them immediately.

Give them time to sort the problem there is no perfect provider and you can be sure that they are working hard to sort the problem. We did have not long ago a very bad week but at the end everything is sorted.

Websites were just down again and the machine overloaded again. I'm signing up for an account at McHost right now, hopefully my last move after in the last 3 weeks (4 providers). For hours no communication this is just not acceptable.

I will keep you informed of my experiences :(

The servers are not down, and none of them are overloaded.

Sorry to hear about your problems. It makes me shudder that someone can bring the servers down like that. The internet is far from a secure and stable platform. Whatever doesn't kill you can only make you stonger!! :)

Everything seems to be working now, dont mean to panic sometimes but downtime is money for most of my clients :)

SplashHost services are still excellent!
