hello, i'm quite happy with my current host and don't want to change. however, i need more bandwidth.

who do you cats recommend for storage and bandwidth? i need about 30-50gb per month for about 300mb's worth of files. i'm not expecting it to be cheap or free.

or is there even such a thing?

That's a lot of resources for a shared hosting environment to provide. Have you considered a VPS or dedicated solution? You say you don't expect it to be cheap so I'd say it's worth looking into. Especially if you plan to expand.. You should put something up in the Requests section and see what the hosts here suggest as a solution.

you really should post something in the Hosting Requests forum and basically state what you need, and what your expected growth is. Maybe you can get a good deal with a company that has a low populated server and high bandwidth.

i considered the requests section, but it invariably ends up in spam-like responses most of which don't actually meet the requests specified in the requesting message.

also, i don't want one of these "fresh off the block" types, i want someone who's been around for awhile and has a reputation. i'm tired of slackers.

what is vps?

as for dedicated, i don't know if it'd be worth the time, really, as i don't need anything but the storage + bandwidth, the rest of the site would be hosted elsewhere.

my current host just shut the incriminating directory down that was causing this exhorbitant bandwidth useage, but has not responded to my requests in regards to paying for more bandwidth or what the limit is. what is the general allowed useage?
