easy, get the AUTH code for each name you wish to transfer from INWW. Afterwards find a reputable registrar like RegisterFly.com, enom and transfer your name TO them.

A lot of people who have registry with INWW got that because they bought the hosting/registry package from Yahoo. Is that the case here?

If you purchased the name from yahoo you will probably need to contact them to get the EPP code from them.

I would call them up and ask them instead of email, get to the point quicker!!!

If your hosting is Yahoo, be careful about pulling the plug on the hosting before you've changed the registry. You need a working email address in the whois to be able to approve changes. If your domain was previously blahbityblah-blahblah.org, and you were listed as admin@blahbityblah-blahblah.org, or maybe rickypham@blahbityblah-blahblah.org, which forwarded to blahbityblah-blahblah@yahoo.com, be sure the change doesn't cause it to stop forwarding the email to blahbityblah-blahblah@yahoo.com. Or change the whois listing to blahbityblah-blahblah@yahoo.com first to eliminate that problem.
I learned this the hard way. It was while I was in the process of trying to get tech support from Yahoo to solve the problem that I started to visit this message board and needed to choose a nickname for it.

Yes my hosting is yahoo, but I transfered domain to inww free, and now I can login to manage my domain at inww.com by register key

Okay, now that you have the INWW register key you can check to be sure that the whois-listed address is something that works and won't be disrupted. Then submit your transfer request to the new registry that you want to do business with. They should send approval requests and activation information to the whois-listed address.

Be carefull!

If you transfer your domain name from your actual registrant to the new registrant or registrar, you will be angry like me because the registrant want only accept the payment transfer and doesn't do the rest, then, you need to do the rest by your self and need a lot of days (if nobody answer you, will need more weeks).

My experience was, trying to transfer my domain name from my actual registrant to another best registrant in Paris. I was very angry because I paid for the transfer and the new registrant doesn't do the rest, only chit chat, sitting in their best office!

So, I lost my money and finally I contact directly to my registrar to inform them to change the both DNS (ns1 & ns2) for my own domain name.. and they accepted. (I was angry because I spent one week only to proove all my documents to everywhere)

:bawling:

Now the transfer is paid and I don't care anyway. I care only from my registrar who believes me as well.

So I remind you to transfert your domain name from your actual Registrar to the new Registrar, like joker.com, onlinenic.com etc.

It's a better solution.
(fast-way and you can modify your both DNS as fast as the transfer done)

When you transfer your domains, pick a registry that's good, not bad.

I've been satisfied with Godaddy, although their site is a bit convoluted and full of ads. They do have pretty good phone support, which you may sometimes need to find some function in some non-obvious pathway in their website.

Registerfly should also work. I have been annoyed by them disregarding deselecting "special offers". You should disable Spamfly. The spammers have figured out their numbering system, and it doesn't filter spam very well. So it actually becomes a means of spammers getting their spam forwarded. I would not recommend their hosting. I tried it and had too much downtime.

Would disagree, I have several hundred names using their spamfly and my inbound spam has been zilch.

I just seem to have had all the luck with Registerfly. Being on the lousy server. Being in the Spamfly number sequence the spammers were using. Apparently for some Registerfly works consistently well.
