Okie out of the following three helpdesks which one do you like best.
Personally I am using Cerberus atm but thinking of moving towards a Ticket Based support desk instead of an email based support desk.

osTicket
Support Logic[/list=1]

Greetings:

Cerberus can be 100% ticket based; clients can submit tickets via email or the ticket system.

Thank you.

I like osTicket, otherwise Cerberus but I hate being limited to one email.

I recommend Cerberus but osTicket works well too.

Thanks,

Cerberus is a great and stable software, limited to one email in free edition. If you need more email queue, just buy the software.

Cerberus offer a support portal too, free, itīs possible to build a knowledge base with search, open new tickets etc.

I wonder whether osTicket can do what cerberus can do? I mean features comparison between the two.

Then purchase it.. Its well worth the plunge. You could even rent a copy. I haven't looked back since purchasing it.

Take a look at my cerberus review here: http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=356131&perpage=15&highlight=cerberus&pagenumber=1

cerberus gets my vote hands down.

The free edition works the same but is limited to one email address.

Cerberus is awesome. You can also intergrate it into modernbill easily now.

Cerberus -- Limited and free, or costly.
OS Ticket - Very buggy, and make SURE you disable upload of php files.

Personally, support logic is the best IMO. It has a nice interface, and if customers want they can do all stuff from email.

We've used osTicket and Support-Logic.

osTicket is great for a small single purpose helpdesk such as a helpdesk for technical support alongside live chat.

Support-Logic is great for a larger helpdesk where you you might have technical support, sales and billing.

Just depends on what you need.

We moved from osTicket to Support-Logic as our needs changed. :)

I'm now using osTicket, but can't figure out how to automaticly have emails sent to say my support@domain.com to auto create a support ticket.

Why would I? I love osTicket, infact I perfer it over Cerberus, I got offered a free edition a bit back and I said no. Cerberus is very ugly. osTicket is very clean, simple, professional but gets the job done.

Are you using the correct mail server, username, and password?
