How is here service and support? Thanks Davide jakis 12-06-2000, 07:24 AM I used Interserver , the support guys are very flexible and helpful. Unlike other hosts, they did not charge you extra money when you need help. sigsys 12-06-2000, 11:18 AM I went to Interserver.net but could not find any information about dedicated specials. Could you post a link? Thanks, Johnathan DaveC# 12-06-2000, 01:45 PM Be very very careful with this company guys kunal 12-06-2000, 03:57 PM Originally posted by DaveC# Be very very careful with this company guys Why would you say that? Tell us more.. you cannot sipmle say be carfuly... you should tel us also some good reason(s).... Anyway "sigsys" the special offers is on: http://www.interserver.net/index.php3?action=getpage&page=dedicated&category=services sigsys 12-06-2000, 06:37 PM Ah... saw those... they state on their homepage that they ahve dedicated servers starting @ $99. Couldn't find any though. I am getting ready to order a Raq3 through 4webspace (with 128mb as suggested by a bunch of people). Good luck though. Johnathan brainbox 12-07-2000, 12:07 PM Get a raq3 with 256mb ram, while it adequately runs on 128mb, and I suppose you can upgrade later again, it's best to get what you need, and have one charge. I now am the proud leasor of a 4webspace.com raq3 with 256mb ram, I opted for that much ram because I have several healthy sized MySQL databases on it. It's better to run a raq on memory than swap space from what I have read in different mailing digests. My raq3 without anything funky running and no sites getting any hits, takes up 67mb of memory, that's with the mysqld server running. Add a coulple busy sites to it, and you need the full 128mb ram if not more. Just my opinion Anyway, good luck with 4webspace.com Im quite happy with them even for the short 2 days that I've been with them, steve is very prompt on answering my emails. Bbox |
