Resellers and customers be aware, A while back i used Spewey.com for some of my sites and client sites while i was having problems with a dedicated server.

They were cheap ( of course )
Promised Heaps ( of course )
And found the setting up process including sign up very very easy,

A few months down the track while still having probelms with my dserver, there severs went down for 3 days, apparently a problem with cpanel, since then which was now 6 months ago non of my web sites had email access of any sort, stats, usage etc etc.

They were quick to send me an email threatening to shut all my sites down if I did not pay the extra 5 megs used by a client site. but kept saying " No email problems here " I have been trying to get my money back since, with no sucess...They had excellent uptime, but the service sucks, people were rude and spoke to you as if you were an idiot :angry:

Please its a good idea to save you money, time and hair not to use this company!

DOnt like speaking bad about anyones venture, but you got to admit some just really suck :)

Anyone else with a warning for resellers?

I went to their site.... I spent most of the time closing popups.

Their website is not very impressive, nor all the ads they stick on there.

Also they have a homestead counter on their site I believe..... this company does not seem very professional.

They had no banner ads, or pop ups when i started!

I think the guy running it is selling it off now to discounthosting or something and he is trying to make a quick buck or two...

Cause i am getting spammed with some of his other crapy projects, not that i have tried them, but they all have pop ups that have nothing to do with the company so im guessing.

I just miss my money thats all :bawling: lol

New to this and loving it!..I know how to design but this hosting stuff is so much more funny..now I've got a decent host identified that is ;-)

I think I'd be leary of using a company called http: //:puke: .com

(sorry, couldn't resist...always wanted to use pukey guy
