I'm not sure this is the right forum but anyway...

Does anyone know of any little programs around for organising the daily (weekly, monthly etc) administration tasks of running a web hosting business?

For example, keeping track of each customer's details and relating it to the activities attached to their account...also server management details, site management details etc.

It would be easy to make one or convert certain existing sales or project management software, I know, but I don't have much time for that unless there are no alternatives.

Also including site building management stuff would be good too, like tracking links and updates and action lists for editing and authoring etc etc etc.

I vaguely remember something, somewhere recently but it's evaporated. :(

Any suggestions gratefully accepted.

Cheers.

Sounds like a regular daily planner program like Outlook or a Palm ought to do it. For financial scheduling try using a package like Quickbooks.

Jaiem,

Thanks for the comment. Yeah, I guess I'll just go back to the old faithfuls.

I was hoping that some genius had written a program that was specific so I wouldn't have to explain everything to our Chancellor of the Exchequer. She's hard work.

Cheers......

Or you could get some one to write it for you? Check out hotscripts.com though. You might find some interesting stuff there :)

I think that CPanel 3 could solve most of your problems.
