olajideolaolorun 01-10-2005, 11:27 AM Does anyone know anything about 1DataCenter.... has anyone been hosted or is hosted by them?
Their prices are really really cheap but i need to know if they are dependable.... I really am new to Reseller and just want to see if it is going to be good for me and my clients so please if you can help and tell me....
I will also try and do searches on them...

account got setup instantly via aim. and very nice prices too :)
I had some DNS problem today at 9:20 am..and i im'ed the guy and he fixed it within 20 mins

I have also been hosting with them for about three weeks. Dns trouble this morning for about 10 minutes that i could tell. Was fixed very promptly in my opinion. I've been with several other hosting companies and nothing as fast as 1datacenter.com's support and repair. I realize some have had issue's and not every host is perfect but for what is worth i've been happy as a lark. Other than the dns issue this morning not problems at all! Been great thanks 1datacenter! Keep it up!
olajideolaolorun 01-13-2005, 12:35 PM I agree with Bull, there is no way you can have no downtime or a 99.9% uptime everytime... you at least have to restart the server after sometime ....

I have MSN messenger and i do see them online.... but you have to make sure you are using the correct IS which is the OdSupport one i believe.

olajideolaolorun 01-15-2005, 12:21 AM Well i will agree with you that they don't check there emails often but they do use MSN Messenger. At least the OdSupport@hotmail.com one. I don't think they use the other one on there website often....
Wehn i emailed them it took me about 3 days before getting a reply i believe so they do have to improve on that factor. Or better yet set up a forum or a help desk.

Yeah that was pretty funny i read that also. Even as silly as that is i've been with them two months and i've got 100% satisfaction so i guess it doesnt matter. And besides for the prices you shouldnt worry too much about not getting your money back really. Good you noticed that though some people dont read that stuff and then expect everything in return.
Changed my mind!!! All the good post's i made about 1datacenter i take back. lol My whole account has been inaccessible for two days now. Cannot get anyone with email or msn, yahoo, etc. I cannot run a hosting business with this kind of support. Boy dont i look like an idiot now! lol If i dont hear anything from them in the next 12 to 24 hours they can shove this hosting right where the good lord split em! Guess i'm getting what i paid for now. 1/3 the price and 1/3 the uptime? Its too bad cause ya'll had a good thing going. And to think i referred a friend to these guys!! What a joke! Guess i'm gonna give up on hosting unless i own the datacenter, otherwise you cant guarantee ****.... Thanks for nothing 1datacenter you really are cheap!!!!! Maybe try business school??

cinestar 02-12-2005, 06:17 PM I gave them serious consideration but I could never get past the customer support method. I think any company that doesnt at least have a real phone number or at the very least a public forum, it says a lot about how support inquiries will be handled.
There was a guy that gave them a rave review earlier in a nother post. Seems to be a one post wonder who made the same spelling mistakes as the guy that claims to run that company. Seemed a bit suspecious to me also.
I found Gazzin.com via hostvoice.com (one of the sponsors here.) Gazzin seems pretty good, but I've only been with them a couple days, But I'll trive and post a little something every couple of months should I actually stay with them. The price is too good to be true but so far customer support has been lickyddy split about taking care of me.
I personally am not looking to resell but I do have many sites that I manage so this type of account is just what I been looking for. Also when I design a site for a client I would like to be able to just upload their site and not have them mess around with web hosts etc.
Ok, so supposedly my account was sending spam. Well, not intentionally thats for sure. So i sure wish i was told about this so i could have resolved it instead of sitting in the dark with no sites at all. I have talked with support and have been able to resolve the issue temporarily at least. I appreciate the help but as they assure me it will be better soon i hope. So for now i take back some of the bad things i said about 1datacenter.com
On a good note when i finally did talk with them they were very polite and got me going again in a jiffy so kudos for that. I will update if there is any change for better or worse.

librianguy 02-13-2005, 02:24 PM I really appreciate this company 1Datacenter cause they have been providing good support and very helpul at times when i needed them.... it has been more than 8 weeks since i hosted my sites on their server and till date i have many queries and problems which have been solved instantly ....
I hope people who have experienced them will always stick to them..

No mails working either..
