I'm not sure if webhostingtalk is the best forum for this question ... but as you guys have always been very helpful, i figure i'll ask anyhow.

in the course of our programming work, our company has put together some features that we believe can be patentable. we may be able to sell this feature as a 'product' to customers but this is not our main line of business.

patents are hard to enforce and costly ... but they are also an asset ... do u think it's worth it?
