Hi guys,

I have about 20 domains some have a pagerank of 4 few with 6 but most have a page rank of 5

What could I do with these?

How much are they worth?

I am developing a website but it is in a really competitive industry and there is no point even trying to get up in the rankings.

Any ideas would be great!

Depends if you have gotten the PR faithfully or not. Depends what the aspects of the site are... Are they gaining traffic and are they all networked on the same Subnet? What are some addys

They have been produced faithfully. Just obtained via expiration. Have not done a check on traffic levels yet

PR is OK but domains worth noting without having a brand.

You may want to consider posting the domain lists so that people can at least offer their opinions on how much each worth.

You need to develop this domain fast (or sell it fast) since the PR will not stay forever ;)

Traffic==value

PR is just used as a gauge to estimate if there is traffic there.

I heard the PR disappears if the domain had expired. What's been your experience with that? Did you open them up under your name? PR still there?

If you've got PR, you could sell links/ads at places like http://www.text-link-ads.com/ ... search for "text link ads" in the SEs.

PR will surely disappear if all the PR is mostly from DMOZ. Most directory site used DMOZ data feed as their content, thus if the site is in DMOZ, your site will also be in many of these sites. This will make it look like lots of links to the site, making the PR higher.

If DMOZ updates the link since the domain has expired, the site may lose the majority of links going in, thus reducing the pr of the site.

Hope this is not confusing.

You could post the actual names in the appraisal section, and get feedback on their value.

NOTE: Do not post them in this thread. ;)
