Hi,

We are looking for an experienced server administrator to manage our servers.

We need someone PROFICIENT and EXPERIENCED who can perform regular server securing, maintenance, upgrades, security checks, tweaking, optimising, installing software etc, as and when required.

We also expect this person to deal with customer support tickets over full-time hours daily, i.e. covering an 8 hour a day period. On average we only receive between 5-10 support tickets daily which are usually very simple and straightforward to resolve. On some occasions where required the server DCs need to be contacted to carry out reboots and server related work.

So if you are someone who is connected to the Internet via a reliable broadband/cable connection, and you spend 8 hours a day at your PC, this would suit you very well to make some extra money. Additionally if you have web design skills, that would be a bonus as you can re-design our site into something more professional looking.

We are willing to pay $100/month to start with as the actual work involved is very little right now. As time progresses and we get more customers/servers we will increase this accordingly. We are also selling dedicated servers and plan to move into offering server management plans to customers, so there is a great opportunity to turn this into a full-time paying job.

You need to be an experienced and expert linux server administrator, with excellant knowledge of webserver configurations and everything to do with web hosting servers. You need to have excellant knowledge of CPanel/DA trouble-shooting.

Please send your CVs and work experience to work@siterollout.com

Please note: We will be asking for identification and credible references to confirm your identity.

At $100/month, I can provide 1 hr per day (30 hrs per month). I can do both system admin and cust. support.

Let me know if we have a deal... and I'm ready to start.

Thanks

I wouldn't say that...
I'm sure there are lots of skilled system administrators from low wage countries. Most of them speak English very well. If you earn $500/month in such a country you already belong to the top 10% earners.

What is it with my ad???

I need to have credible references and valid identification so I don't have some kid or some malicious user logging on(whether from India or from the US) and messing up my servers and everything else.

Since I'm looking to outsource to someone outside the UK, naturally I need to verify who they are - what on earth is wrong with that?

In terms of pay, I just need someone to cover the hours, but the actual work is minimal, maybe max 1-2 hours of any given day. I just need someone to be able to reply to tickets as soon as they come in, and do some server related management. So if anyone is without a job but looking for a great opportunity, here is one right here.

Once I have more work coming in, the pay will obviously increase, and which I expect to increase dramatically.

I am looking for someone who will become my dedicated admin eventually, knows my business and processes inside out, and can turn this into a well paying career.

Of course if $300-500 a month is not attractive to you, then don't bother responding to this post.

Yes but $500 that would be a for a full time, 8 hours a day, 6 days a week, dedicated admin and support, plus doing other stuff such as web design and coding, i.e. I get my money's worth. It means that employee works with my business alone and does not provide support/services to anyone else. It would be a full time job and not just sitting by the desk waiting for an email to arrive, but proactively working the full hours on assigned tasks.

I have no problem with you offering people who ever you want. I am also not sure exactly how US laws work or if they aplly to you buisness. But, by doing the math I found that it is almost half of a $6.75 minimum wage.
I guess I will just leave it at that.
3.25 or something an hour an expecting full time position.. you cant be expecting much.
