Hi, I'm a new member.
Iam Giwli, I study Basic Network Administration on Windows 2000, 2003, Red Hat, etc....

Today, I want to create a little new web hosting company in France.
I know how create the company legaly, But I don't know how I can proceed to host clients webpage.

Can I take a Dedicated server look like this :

(It's an example)
3000+ Athlon
10Mbps Unmetered
1024MB RAM
2*80GB Drive
Windows 2003 Server

Install PHP, MySql, cgi scripts, etc....

But I don't know how I can attribut a name domain to a dedicated server, and how I can propose unlimited subdomain, unlimited mail, unlimited ftp access.

Anybody Can help me about this please ? :)
Thanks.

it would be alot simplier/cheaper/easier to get a reseller as all the installations are done and you have very little to administrate.

Reseller to start with then once a steady income is made, then take the dedicated server route...

A reseller account will also enable you to learn how to run a server and how the parts of it work. Sort of hard to sell a product/service that a person doesn't even understand at the basic level... ;) A person needs experience in hosting in order to learn how it works.
