Hi everybody

I'm looking for an easy to use (server side), web page creator for my ... less computer savy customers

I looked for maxpages (used by alabanza) but could not find a downloadable .. any ideas ?

I've looked for that one too... no luck. Seems they used to offer it for download (I think), but maybe not any more. I know miva has a sitebuilder product that is *just* as complicated to build a site with, heh. Other than that, have you searched hotscripts, etc. ???

So what you mean is something like a template driven dbase, in which the user fills a form and wola, his page is made? :) Hotscipts.com surely has a few of these. I remember seeing some that would cost an arm or a leg, but some were free to. Check it out.

Something like HOMESTEADS WYSIWYG editor would be ideal for you but good luck finding anything that complete. I have searched for a few also and most of them are form or template based. If you find any that are decent let us know.

I believe bdraco might be putting something like this into a future release of Cpanel... however that's just a rumor and I don't even remember where I heard it. :)

Can anyone confirm?

In the Devel list there was a request for it (maybe that's where you saw it), not sure if bdraco is looking into it yet :(

IU have heard a program called slash is out there, a very easy to use WYSIWYG program, some say better than frontpage, and cheaper also. but i dont know the address for it.

There is a popular links program called Links sql by gossamer-threads.com that has a built in page editor, and does in fact (at least with the version I bought) have a wysiwyg editor, pretty damn spiffy if you ask me.

Perhaps asking them about the program module for that and seeing if they plan on releasing it seperately would be in order.

I can't vouch that it will fill your needs, but it's worth asking them at http://www.gossamer-threads.com
