I'm installing the latest os update on my new raq4.
I'm waiting for over an hour now.....
How long should this take (33mb it is ?) ?
I looked at top, but still see some (not much) activity.
you should not install such a big update directly over the net.
Login to your RaQ, "cd /home/packages" and make a "wget ftp.cobalt.com/something/pkgyouwant.pkg"
You might look for the specific file at ftp://ftp.nl.cobalt.com/pub/ftp.cobalt.com/pub/packages/raq4/eng/ because this server is MUCH faster than ftp.cobalt.com
After that, go to your Serveradminisratrion and you'll find this PKG under "Loaded Packages" (or something similar) where you can install it from. The update itself should be done in a few minutes.

Mm i should have known that.
Now what, should i intterupt it or just wait for as long as it takes ?
hmm, I think you should interrupt it if your server still tries to download it - but sorry, I don't know which process to kill

It stopped itself, so no problems so far.
Thanks.

Hi,
A tip ! NEVER EVER INSTALL A PATCH directly over the internet. Imagine in what trouble your are when your connection drops or the packages turns out to be corrupt.
Could screw your whole server !! use the WGET option mention in the above post.
