Has anyone gotten web.cp to install and work correctly?

Yes I did, I installed it perfectly on a RH 6.2 machine. But I use freeBSD myself so I can't use it Yet. When version 0.5 appears it will be portable, so I also can start using it :).

I was able to get it up and running, but not to the stage of being able to actually host domains. Maybe because I didn't set up the mail server correctly.

Felix said 0.5 will be out in a week, and is a completely new release. Definitely worth checking out.

Of all the messages I've read on the web.cp forum, it seems like around 75% of the people are using Mandrake linux. Why is that?

What's the URL for the webcp site (if there is one at least). I'll be renting a dedicated server soon, and I wouldn't mind checking version 5 out to possibly use on it. I did have a quick look round for the URL in other posts, but couldn't find it, so I apoligize if it is there somewhere.

I would honestly admit that we (at Can-Host Networks) are running web://cp for our shared web hosting customers since version 0.2. Of course, I developped it so I can fix it within minutes if anything happens, and I know how to set it up right.

My personal advice is to wait for version 1.0 for any serious production use of web://cp as 0.5 is yet another development release.

I must admit Felix..web.cp is beginning to look mighty fine! :)
Tried out the 0.4 on my home box, Redhat 7.1 got stuck in a few places..but all worked out. Am one of the ones waiting for version 1.0:D
