Hi there,

I have been trying out the Plesk control panel with a look to buy a reseller's accout with one, but I have encountered a mystifying problem.

After I have created a domain and I got to add a domain user, no matter what password I put in, conforming strictly to the rules, it says it is an invalid password.

As the pop-up error message comes up the page reloads and the password boxes come back displaying a great many more characters that I originally entered.

I am using a standard 101 keyboard and the the languge settings set to US English.

Anyone got a clue about this?

not really, but i've had an error like that b4. try entering another password which Does NOT include any part of the username and is between 5-11 characters, that might help.;)

As I said, I followed the password rules strictly.

The owner of the host servive entered the same password I was trying to enter without a problem...

I have no idea why you're having that problem, but I can say that I have used the Plesk domain user feature extensively and never had a problem.

Have you tried it with a different Web browser or on a different computer?

I managed to create the Domain User password using NS 6.2 rather than IE 6.0, which is my regular browser - thanks!
