My error log is filled with these messages:

[notice] child pid 1296 exit signal Segmentation fault (11)

Each with a different pid number.

I'm using Apache/1.3.20 (Unix) (Red-Hat/Linux) mod_ssl/2.8.4 OpenSSL/0.9.6b DAV/1.0.2 PHP/4.1.1 mod_perl/1.24_01. I'm also utilizing mod_rewrite.

I am a total beginner. What are some steps I need to take to solve this problem?

We getting that error of the 05/03/03, did you find a fix for this ? it seems to be a PHP script that doing this, but it been on the server from day 1 and it just started :confused:

yah sig 11's are really bad code, or most of the time bad hardware.

it's usually from cheap ram..........
