I run a website (http://www.iblist.com) that contains book information. The website is fully functional, but there are major changes occuring. The script that I need written will fit into the new structure. I don't believe that this will require a lot of coding, but it will require thinking and familiarization with the complex database.
Requirements:
*Contact by AIM/ICQ/MSN (primary method)
*Portfolio/examples of work (need not be a similar script, only an example of the level of skill)
*The code must be written by you, not copied from somewhere. I will retain an unlimited licence to use, copy, sell, etc the code.
Desription of script:
*Note that you will not need to worry about conversion of existing images or the user editing functions. This deals only with the front end display and database.
Currently, entries look something like this (http://www.iblist.com/book25921.htm). There is a single small thumbnail image associated with a book. Future entries will look very different (URL with examples will be provided on contact).
The script/database changes need to do the following:
1) Allow larger cover images
2) Allow thumbnails to be held on one server, and the larger cover images on another (or both on a second server).
3) When a user clicks on the thumbnail, a window will appear that will allow a user to view all images associated with that record. This window must be able to support multiple images per record.
So what will this require, and what will it not? It should not require any GD. You may have to create a MySQL table and a couple of fields. The code will need to be written for the following:
*clickable thumnail
*MySQL associating book records with images
*PHP for the window that contains the images
This will NOT require you to write the code that allows user to upload the images. It will not require you to write the thumnail conversion script.
Payment will be by Paypal non-CC funds or US postal money order (US residents only).
