You see, there is so many people selling domains. But what if you had say business.com, you don't have time to develope it but then again it's so valuable you don't want to sell it until the best, life-changing deal comes around. I was at blockbuster the other night, and i stopped to think, why don't people rent domains? I mean, isn't it an awsome idea? I also had the idea of trading domains. Say you trade forums.com for website.com. Not as great as renting in my opinion, but hey adding it in won't hurt.

Now, this is where the money comes in:

We split the domains into categories, .com, .net, .org, etc. Then into subcategories, Pets, Businesses, Forums, etc. So it will have a small sellers fee depending on how much they are renting the domain(s) for.

Now, right now you may be asking, How would that work? You can trust them to give the domain name back! The owner keeps the domain name, then with the submission form i will create in the website, he sends over the nameservers to the owner of the domain. %50 of money when the renting starts, %50 of the money when it ends. Example: $10 for 1 month, $5 at the beginnging of the month, $5 at the end.

Anyone interested in helping out? You will be payed when we get some customers. The money we will charge will most of the time be around $0.50. So, you will most likely be payed %50 percent. So think of it this way, if you had a quarter for every domain someone decided to sell...

And if the domain someone has posted on our site has stayed out there for over a month, we will probably charge them again.

What exactly are you asking somebody to do?

You said you could script the site

"then with the submission form i will create in the website"

So what exactly are you asking your partner to do? It's a nice concept if it gets off the ground, give some more info and I might be interested, even though I can't code :P

The submission form I will create will sort of be like a little control panel for the domain, except instead of it changing automatically, it sends the info to the domain owner and the domain owner changes the info by himself.

So what exactly are you asking your partner to do?

Please add me on MSN support@hearthost.com so I can give you some more info.
