I know this probably isn't the right forum, but I didn't know where to post this, and I've always gotten good advice here.

I have a client that wants to cut costs and give up his website (currently paying $18/mo) but wants to keep his domain name and email address.

I found RegisterFly.com has an email hosting package for only $15/year.

I use RegisterFly.com to register my domain names and like them, but didn't know about their other services.

If anyone has an opinion on RegisterFly.com's services or suggestions for where I can find an email host that is good, please let me know.

Why don't you come up with a $50/yr. plan (maybe including domain if that sounds too high) so they can keep the domain & email through you? If he's paying $18/mo, that's a pretty decent savings, but you know your market/customer, adjust pricing as needed.

I don't sell hosting packages, I only design sites. I act more of a middle man -- I help my customers find the hosting service (if, they use me for design of course :) -- and I do this for free.

You can try using a free dns service to point your MX record to somethign like everyone.net or thebigmailbox.com . THat would be a totally free solution
