Martie 02-15-2002, 06:52 PM I dont care for the new design at all :( Tophosts USED TO BE GOOD about 2 years ago...back then we used to get quite abit of traffic from them...several months went by and I could never get logged in to make updates. I emailed them several times and never got an answer..and not sure how we remained in their database. About a month or so ago I got spammed by them asking me to add funds to their new PPC program....I never did, and up until a week ago I was actually receiving about 5 emails a DAY asking for ppc funds!! I finally got annoyed enough to write them and ask them to REMOVE me!! They wrote back saying they had! Today I get the email about their new site....GEEZH! I also notice that Internet Magazine has Fasthosts highly rated. Fasthosts is also oneof their largest advertisers. Gordon I don't read Internet Magazine, but I know in .net and similar, it's more like FastHost's own magazine with a few articles here and there. But, functionality has been severally dented. You have to go back to the main page to go to a different showcase, etc... Clicking back and forwards to access spotlights will ultimately lead to higher page views and more impression based ad inventory. I'm guessing it was a deliberate move. |
