Thanks Vdbhosting 01-03-2005, 07:55 AM I use godaddy.com and I don't know if they are the cheapest but they've got a good service and that's what I think is important. ascent 01-03-2005, 08:05 AM Originally posted by Kaliause Where could I buy .com domain for lowest price ($5 or something like that)? Thanks I found only 1&1 Internet (http://www.1and1.com/), domains for $5.99/year, BUT only for US and UK residents (dunno why :(). Maybe someone know registrars with similar price, but not limited to this countries? FanCube 01-03-2005, 08:10 AM I would suggest that you start out with a search in this forum or just browse through some of the latest topics. There are many topics about cheap domains. Please remember when buying domains that it often will pay of in the in end to find a balance between service and price. Just by paying a few $ more can you in the end avoid a lot of problems and get a much better service especially if you only are going to register a few domains is it not a good idea to go after the cheapest places as the main factor. Here a few places which have low prices and offers a decent service as well as having some easy to use control panels. http://www.registerfly.com http://www.godaddy.com https://domains.ev1servers.net http://www.namecheap.com ascent 01-03-2005, 08:35 AM I found this ($4.95 per year): http://www.netfirms.com/offer/b/52/ Jeffreyw 01-03-2005, 08:42 AM Originally posted by ascent I found this ($4.95 per year): http://www.netfirms.com/offer/b/52/ It has strings attached. I have experience with all of them and they are all good domain registrars. Namecheap.com being my favourite. They are eNom resellers though if I'm not mistaken, while DomainSite gets them straight from the source (ICANN). 1and1 is quite cheap, but are they reliable ? |
